The wire passes through straightening rollers to remove bends. Machines then bend the wire into a repeating zigzag pattern. Each zigzag hooks into the next wire, forming the diamond shaped mesh you see. The wires twist together automatically, locking the structure without welding. Once the mesh reaches the required length, it gets cut
