At approximately 10:00 p.m. on October 11th, 2025, Downey Police and Fire Department responded to a fatal traffic collision near Rosecrans Avenue and Lakewood Boulevard in Downey. According to witnesses, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver who reportedly suffered a medical episode related to low blood pressure.
